How we keep this place worth visiting

Skoolie Club is a small community run by bus people in their spare time. These rules exist so the forum stays useful and the bus profiles stay honest. They're short on purpose.

1. Be useful, be decent

Answer the question that was asked. Disagree with the idea, not the person. No insults, slurs, harassment, or piling on. If someone's doing something unsafe, say so plainly and explain why; that's helpful, not rude.

2. Safety advice is serious

Electrical, propane, wood stoves, brakes and towing can hurt people. Don't guess. If you're not sure, say you're not sure. Posts that confidently give dangerous advice will be edited or removed.

3. Your bus, your photos, your words

Only post photos and build details you have the right to share. Don't post someone else's build as your own. You keep ownership of everything you post; by posting it you let Skoolie Club display it here.

4. No spam, no stealth selling

Selling a bus or parts is fine in the right category and with your real name on it. Affiliate links, drop-shipping, "DM me for a deal," and accounts that exist only to promote something get removed without warning.

5. Keep personal information private

Don't post anyone's address, phone number, license plate, or where they're parked tonight. That includes your own unless you've thought hard about it.

6. One account per person

Pick a username and stick with it. Sock-puppet accounts get removed along with the original.

Enforcement

Moderators can edit or remove posts, lock threads, and suspend accounts. Usually you'll get a note first. For spam or harassment, you won't. If you think a call was wrong, use the feedback page and make your case.
